That was a wild story, I know about the breaking of guitars on these flights, McCartney gets a seat for his bass. That tour seemed to go by quickly at least for me watching your videos but Im sure getting back with your son is just fantastic. I know yu already said its not NCL but it would have been cool, Im going NCL through Greece in sept.

David: Not sure what kind of case that was that got damaged, but I just watched a very good video about road cases being abused. I'm talking about being dropped off trucks, off balconies, etc. Humes & Berg beat out SKB, & Gator Cases in every way. But yeah, I've heard so many horror stories about guitars and gear being destroyed by airlines thru the years. Can't wait to hear about your next cruise ship gig. y'all keep on rockin. 😉

As my son plans to do more away gigs I will add his gear as a rider to our home insurance- it's cheap peace of mind. Yes, annoying to have to replace damaged or lost gear, but better than having to do so out of your own pocket! Welcome home, btw. Looks like you're getting a well-earned rest.

That’s a great idea. There are specific instances that home insurance will cover and certain instances that they will not cover. You may want to look into different types of insurance specifically for the gear of touring or traveling musicians

Hey, I just stumbled across your channel. Loving everything I see. I just wanted to let you know that here in Australia if you're a member of a Musicians organisation.. here in Oz its APRA with some airplane companies you get and extra 65kg and upto 4 bags each member of the band or group. Virgin has this as their musicians allowance. Thought I'd share incase it helps in future for your travels. Keep up the great inspiring work. Luke
