The most motorcycle-sounding motorcycle! Congrats on your new ride.

Found out that the 50th Anniversary Z is not going to be available in lockdown NZ. Looks like blue and gold it will have to be ( can't justify the extra cost of the yellow SE.

Own your giddiness. . Don't be afraid to love something. Personally owning the 900VN Classic and Honda CB500X, I'll say you can't beat the standard position (heels under hips) for long distance comfort IMO.

And a 2nd thought about brand loyalty..if you love one outfits approach on doing what they do, why not take that into your next vehicle purchase? Keep the mind open and run new information through your filter..it's how we learn

It was the same for me when I was choosing the bike. I liked Triumph Speed Tween look the most, Z900RS on the second place, and Yamaha XSR900 also was on the menu but visually I liked it less. Triumph was more expensive and its suspension is less good, that's why I picked Kawasaki. I bought the Cafe version.

That's pretty cool that we both had the same thought process when looking at these bikes. I love this bike though and currently don't even have a cruiser anymore.

My fastest bike was a cruiser, an 82 yamaha 1100 Maxim.. A 125hp, 6 speed 880lb missile that was unbelievably quick for such a heavy bike. The first time I test drove it I couldn't believe how massive the gas tank was and how much engine stuck out on each side of it

@@myfriendsgarage5895 It was a very comfortable bike to ride and got outstanding gas mileage despite being so big. I actually miss that bike

The more I ride this bike the more I like it. Honestly think it's one of their best color combinations for this bike.

@@myfriendsgarage5895 That is the color combo of the original 1970's Z1. Very nice. (like it better than the new ones)
