They enter the water at LOW TIDE daily, whatever time that is between 7am and 4pm, not " at noon like clockwork ". Nice shots underwater. Cheers Claudia

You seem knowledgeable, so my question is I wonder why during the evolutionary process these iguanas never developed webbed claws? Do they spend too much time on land?

@@rumblechick73 they spend 22-23 tours a day on land and only enter océano to feed. TAIL is their underwater propulsion not legs. Ver y sharp nails to cling onto the rocks along the rocky coast and under the ocean - Whedon sabes cash or tug . Come visit

There are marine iguanas in Trinidad down the Islands....

I believe there are iguanas in parts of the world that do go in the water but don’t dive down to eat algae as their main food source.

Good to see you guys again for sure after getting to know you on SV Delos. Happy you guys are doing so well. How fantastic how much life is in that area and all those hammerheads I mean I grew up going out Sunny Isles going out Haulover cut all summer as my father had a 63 foot drift boat and took people fishing all day. But I never saw so many hammerheads before. So great there’s so much marine life there it makes me feel so much better about the ocean. I’ve been getting a little worried. The animals are no problem it’s the people that kill everything.
