these guys were fucking good! love their take on delta blues music! the original recordings(son house, Robert johnstone etc) are fabulous but these boys are magic! did they break up?

The white stripes were Jack White and Meg White, they split because Meg had stage anxiety. Jack White has many other projects going on, he is the greatest force in rock music right now and one of the only people keeping this stuff alive, check out his solo stuff, the raconteurs and the dead weather. Jack is definitely worth checking out, he is an amazing person in general.
