Kennedy Space Center is amazing! It really is a place that everyone should visit at least once in their life. Getting to meet astronaut Dr. Anna Fisher at the Astronaut Encounter at KSC was my favorite part of my vacation to Florida last year!

I used GoPort Canaveral before a cruise with their parksnoozecruise and stayed at the Doubletree Cocoa beach overlooking the pool and Beach just a 30 ft walk from the pool! Had a shuttle to the ship and back after the cruise to my car for the drive home to Pensacola.

Great video brought back some fond memories of being on the space coast back in 2010. I think it was we rented a house in Kissimmee and went to Disney World and Epcot. Also Universal Studios Islands of adventure and almost caught a live shuttle launch on the Indian river, I think it is, but the conditions weren’t in our favor. Sounds like your family. Hi, I will be sailing out of port canaveral for the first time in March. I see you rented a car from the airport, but where did you drop it off before heading to cruise?

Hey! In this case, we picked up and dropped off at the Orlando airport because we weren’t cruising. I will contact the rental car company and see if they have a drop off location in Port Canaveral or cocoa beach for you.

If on a cruise there is an enterprise rental place near Canaveral and wherever they pick you up to bring you to the branch they will take back there after you return the vehicle. Not the airport though!

My brother and I went on the NCL KSC excursion and didn't get the talk with an astronaut!

@CruiseTipsTV I won't do it through NCL at $125/person! I went there every weekend when I was in Navy training in Orlando in 1980. If it was on a launch day maybe! The day I went this last time a launch happened while the bus was heading there and we were lucky we saw it out the window of the bus! We wouldn't have if we were heading there at the time NCL had scheduled us for the day before at 1:30pm! Rough seas got us in to Port Canaveral the next morning at 9am! 1:30pm is way too late to enjoy all that there us there, especially for $125/person. I don't know what NCL is thinking about bringing people there at a time that most things close soon!
