I really like yours backing tracks, congratulations! I'm here improvising with my old guitar. The damn thing is always out of tune. I feel like throwing it into the fire but then I remember that if I lose this one I won't have another one to use and so I have to use this one until I can buy another one. But I spend more time tuning it than practicing. Patience! 😩

Ik this is a stupid question but how exactly is he soloing over the changes? I understand basics of playing the notes in the next chord but is that it? I’m stuck in pentatonic and can’t get out!!!! Please help and killer solo

He has a great sense of timing, melody, and dynamics to start. But solo wise he’s just playing correct notes in the key, and he probably has licks/movements that he’s done before while jamming. You have to practice and repeat things to get them down. I advise you use the fret chart in the video and just focus on hitting any of the notes shown, they are in key and this is diatonic scale which is more than pentatonic and will help you get out. Combine slides, bends, hammer ons if you can and find what you like and keep it. Try learning an easier phrase from his solo by ear and putting that into your solo
