Cruising on Royal Caribbean Vision of the Seas to Bermuda from Baltimore.

I live in the Baltimore area and have cruised from Bayonne, San Juan, and Ft Lauderdale . I've never cruised from here. I even had family out on the Vision on an 11night(I think) when the bridge was hit that I had to drop off & pick up. This video has me saying, "hmmmm, I could Uber to the port for around $25 & the Vision looks good for her age"! Excellent video.

Great report! Thank you. few questions - We have only cruised twice and not in about 15 years.... We go out soon to the Bahamas. How early before your check-in time did you get to the parking lot. We are driving from northern Virginia so about an hour drive (or five....) We think our ship is booked pretty full... how about your cruise? It did not look crowded. Again - great report!

Thanks so much for filming and sharing your experience. My family and I are heading out on Vision to the Bahamas after Christmas and over New Years. Mind sharing what time you drove over to the cruise port? We're driving from an hour away and don't mind getting there early if that means not getting stuck in a line of cars and more easily finding parking, but only if it's actually necessary.

Thank you! Our cruise departed Baltimore at 3:00 p.m. We got to the cruise port around 10:00 a.m. not necessary to be there that early but it gave us plenty of time to get on board the ship and look around and check it out. Our boarding time was 11 so we got there an hour prior to that. The port is very well done and very well organized for baggage drop and parking

@@Slumpy1969 you have to smoke outside but you can take drinks anywhere. So, if it's nice out, you take your drink from bar, and go sit in a chair outside with an amazing view and smoke all you want.

​@@twinmaples.carnivoreroad the main dining room, the fancy one has three choices for your appetizer main and dessert. You can also order off menu for a charge. The food was excellent!

I did 30 years in the Navy so my opinion is likely a bit skewed. 😊 I didn't think it was bad but we did hit rough weather one day and my wife wasn't feeling great. It's awesome. Usually Caribbean cruises are easy. Bermuda is way out there though so can get rougher.
