Leaving Manchester via Cottagers Cove. Quite a nice trip once I got onto the Bridgewater canal.

Great Video Phil. Did not like the tunnels through Manchester. Enjoy the peace and quit. NAN

Thank you for your video. Very interesting. We don't have anything like that here in Nova Scotia. ⛵

The canals are a really cool feature of our country. They were built in the late 1700s and early 1800s, but as soon as trains came along they fell out of fashion as trains were much more efficient. If you ever have the chance to visit I would recommend hiring a canal boat. Thanks for watching.

Glad you made it through and found a good mooring. I follow 4 of you over there on the canals. I have never seen anyone else take the route you took. I can understand your foreboding underneath the concrete. Very dark locks. Part of the canal were all the trash was in the water, with all the graffiti, reminded me of an end of the world movie. How did your boat acquire its name? Four Bees is different from the other boats I follow. Great video.

@paulbauswellsr3296 Well I'm glad I'm taking the path less travelled as It was very interesting, even though it did feel like I was travelling through the remnants of society. I bought the boat with the name and it's bad luck to change the name of a boat so I'm keeping it as is. I really should concoct a cool story about it though as loads of people ask. As always thank you for watching.
