Losing money to a scammer is certainly bad, but I can see how people could disappear without a trace. These days it goes both ways. Just two days ago I got a legit email from the bank that completely looked like a scam, but it turned out it was from a change my wife forgot to tell me she'd made.

Pretty sure in the UK at least its illegal to pay a recruiter in any way to get a job (you may have to pay for others things as Lucy mentioned). Recruiters can only make money from employers not employees through this may be different in other countries

Hi there. Congratulations on the job! It's normal for embarkation dates to be moved about, so I wouldn't worry about that. It depends, the longest I have waited is 2 weeks but that's because I failed it and had to re take some tests. If your worried, call the medical center and ask them how long you should expect to wait. X
