Much better EQ and fuller fidelity than any of the other online Demos. Probably a much better amp. Nice playing and nice sound. Still want a wood core keybed to get the real Vintage Vibe that Crumar is shooting for.

Hello, I hope you’re doing well. I have a few questions about the product: Does it have built-in speakers? If not, could you recommend some speakers that would pair well with it? Does it come with a pedal? If not, which pedal would you suggest? Does it include a table or stand? If not, what table or stand would you recommend? I also found a B-stock version for 111 euros-do you think that’s a good option, or would you advise against it? Additionally, I’ve been considering the Korg SW2 and the Roland FP-60X. I’m wondering if this could be a better choice for me, especially given the more affordable price. The Korg was fantastic, but it’s over 2000 euros, so I’m exploring other options. I’d really appreciate any advice you can offer! Thank you so much for your help. Warm regards, Chris

Ciao Chris! Thanks for comment 👍 Concerning your questions... - no, it does not have internal speakers (in studio, a 2.0 studio monitors system with 5" or 6" woofers, or 2+1 system with a little subwoofer can reproduce the quality of the Crumar Seventeen) - don't remenber if it comes with a pedal (but any sustain/damper pedal can work) - it does NOT include a stand, so I recommend to consider its dedicated optional four legs system in order to preserve the vintage look - B-stock at 111 euros? not possible 🙂 (maybe 1110? yes, it's a very good option)

@@marcoballa Yes, I meant to add a 0 there.. ha ha.., ok what main difference is it with the more expensive 7? When you say it holds only samples, does it mean one cannot tweak the sounds as much as one can on the Crumar 7 or can one tweak the sounds as much on the Seventeen or how do they differ in this regard? thanks for getting back!

@@SimplicityForGood ciao! the Seven has more or less all the samples piano included in the seventeen, PLUS it has 8 virtual modeling engine (Rhodes, Wurlitzer, CP electric grand, Clavinet, FM/DX, MKS, Vibraphone, Acoustic Grand Piano). it has the "classic" Fatar TP100 keybed and the editor (both for pc/usb and for smarthphone wi-fi). the Seventeen has just ONE virtual modeled piano (the Rhodes, exactly the same of the Seven). same keybed and (at the moment) NO editor (you can edit sounds directly from the instrument with the onboard display).

**@marcoballa** Oh, I didn’t realize the Seventeen was more limited compared to the Seven. I’m thinking about buying the Seventeen but want to make sure it won’t feel too restricted over time. 1. **Will you be adding more pianos and sounds to the Seventeen,** like those in the Seven (Rhodes, Wurlitzer, CP Electric Grand, Clavinet, FM/DX, MKS, Vibraphone, Acoustic Grand Piano)? Will there be a way to download these to the Seventeen? 2. **Sound adjustments**: On the Seven, you can tweak depth, speed, tremolo, and other settings using the knobs. Will the Seventeen allow similar sound modifications through the menu in the future, or will it always be limited in this aspect? 3. **Differences between the Seventeen and Seven**: Could you explain more about the key differences in terms of sound engine flexibility and possible updates? I’d love to buy the Seventeen, but only if it can grow with more features over time.

@@SimplicityForGood yes, the Seventeen is €500 less than the Seven, so you can expect that the Seven is still the "flagship" 🙂 the Seven virtual modeled pianos, clavinet, etc. cannot be added to the Seventeen (different board, different sound engine). the Seventeen has just the virtual modeled rhodes, (the same of Seven). all other sampled sounds are the same of Seven and you will be able to add new sampled pianos in future, exactly like on the Seven. editing: the Seventeen allow most parameters adjustment, but you do not have the editor (at the moment). feel free to discover any other detail here: www.crumar.it/files/Crumar%20Seventeen%20user%20manual.pdf

@@marcoballa awesome - I was aware you had the MKS-20 Epianos on it, but didn't realise it had the 'acoustic' pianos too. Is this also on the seven? (I've been on the fence about getting a seven as a more portable alternative to my 88 note stage piano since before the seventeen was available).

@marcoballa
@marcoballa 10 ай бұрын

Grazie ancora, buona serata

Still hoping that Crumar will switch to the new Fatar wood core keybed. I think it is the TP400 although some say it is the TP440. Either way, maybe a little more expensive, it would be perfect.
@marcoballa
@marcoballa Жыл бұрын
Thanks for comment! Yes the TP40 (now the new TP400 is on the Studiologic Numa X Piano GT) is a great keybed, maybe overall the best compromise. But almost 10 kgs more than the TP100/TP110. Also, all the phisical internal project for Seven and Seventeen have to be changed in order to introduce the TP40/TP400... People always ask for lightness, and for that purpose the TP100 is the only solution at the moment 😀😫 Maybe for the new upcoming products...

So many cheesy sounds that I wish you could swap out for different ones like the Nord library. But I will say their Rhodes sounds are incredible and much better than Nords not to mention it feels more like you’re playing a real Rhodes

Yes, agree. The rhodes is totally physically modeled, same engine of the Crumar Seven. Best digital rhodes clone around, compared to my 1972 MK1, both for sound and (expecially) dynamics (it's "alive" under your hands, something totally different from a sampled sound)
