For those who had trouble understanding her accent, just click on the word “more” in the description below the video and open the transcript to read what she said. Basically, you chain an even number of stitches (she did 14), and start on the 3rd chain from the hook with a half double crochet, followed in the next stitch by a slip stitch and repeat to EOR. You should end the row with a slip. Turn the work. Chain two. Start row two with a half double crochet into the slip stitch from row one, followed by a slip stitch into the half double crochet from row one. Repeat across row. You should end with a slip stitch into the half double crochet that began row one. Turn, chain two, and repeat. Just remember to HDC into the previous row’s slip stitch and slip stitch into the previous row’s HDC, and you should be fine.

Thank you! I’m sorry my accent is hard to understand. I’m investing in some better tech and I might look into adding subtitles too if people find it tricky. 🧡

I could understand you but you never said what size hook you used.

Oh no I’m really sorry to hear that. You could maybe try with closed captions.
