Of course, if they had known in advance that they would get a 2nd season, they probably would've adapted just three volumes for Season 1, but they wanted to make sure that Sisbell was included in the anime (aside from the opening scene).

Shonen are just series written for boys and in my believe KimiSen is actually a shoujo, because mainly women are simping over this show. I know guys like the Nebulis princesses and how they are designed, but this is the kind of story women and girls enjoy. Am a woman. Can confirm. And it is written for 13 year old girls. I will enjoy season 2 to the fullest when it airs.

I really love this ending, especially the dance section since it shows how each girl feels (besides the blue haired girl) - Sisbell is trying to escape the dance because she still can't trust her sisters but Alice pulls her back because she wants Sisbell to trust her. - Elletear is taking control of the dance and is making Alice back off because she wants the throne and holds a grudge towards Alice. - Kissing is being led the whole time showing she's always following someone else's orders. I just wish the animation in the actual episodes had this much thought and care put into them.

This looks really great. I know some people are worried about the art change and the content of the season. But I read the next 4-5 books. Season 1 was adapted really well and season 2 will hopefully be just as great. I am personally hoping for a double cour or maybe a season 3. One can always dream. I am excited for the new season. Maybe I will watch season 1 again. For the 3rd time. I love this show a bit too much, I guess.

Edit #2: nvm they canceled this season due to complaints about the animation 😥 (I can understand with how ep 2 was but...now we must wait ;-;) they promise to bring it back, but better animated. What that does not change, is the fact this ED is beautiful! As someone else pointed out, the storytelling going on here with the choice of dance partner/body language, combined with the song and animation are stunning. I've easily rewatched it several times~

People said its canceled but I highly doubt it especially since they already made everything and it be a waste. Its postponed indefinitely but its presumably to redo the animation kind of like how the sonic movie situation was if you know anything about that. If thats the case it would take probably another year or two before it comes back. Officially they said they want to postpone it to maintain story integrity, if thats the case it would mean they have to make new scene and get new dialogue from the cast etc. Even so it would probably teak a year or so.

Ok, interesting..........even though I can't help since the very first S1 trailer I watched thought immediately this was Kirito x Asuna 2.0, I can't help but think the S2 animation is also more like SAO than S1 ever was........ Also, why did the animation change? Studio change? I get the few years gap in time, but this is getting ridiculous. Lately long gap series from either early 2000s, 2010s, & even recently are coming back, but why do their animations have to change? It makes even less sense if the gap time is shorter & more recent.
