You know how you see a game from your past and it never looks as great as you remember? In your memory, the edges are cleaner and the colors are more vibrant. And then a company remasters the game years later and it really just looks how you remember. This is the musical version of that remaster.

Some time ago I thought how cool would it be to bring back this franchise from a freezer. Now I don’t want this to happen ever. Just leave it where it is, in the past. Let me have this beutiful memories I have for this game. I still play it and I love every piece of it. In current age of games, I fear what would become of a new Crusader game in series…

oh man, I would love a new crusader... if it sucks, we can still remember the old dos games. I think it would have to be a 3d person isometric game, but with advanced ergonomy like the way the new diablo games compare to the original

Contemporary late-stage capitalist Electronic Arts never fails to disappoint do they? I can't believe this port got cancelled. It looked amazing not to mention would have been a great means to increase interest in finally creating a third Crusader game.

I actually think the modern syndicate game wasn't respected. It was actually a really good game but people were stuck on the fact that it was on a different camera angle.

Ironically, if they DID do the Syndicate reboot treatment to crusader, it COULD've been freaking awesome. Crusader was a better IP than Syndicate to do so (Even tho i honestly Loved the syndicate fps)

I would so love this to come back in some form. Ideally another game, but honestly, the premise, background and overall story lend itself very well to a film or TV series. Crusader: No Retreat, Crusader: No Surrender, Crusader: No Mercy... All work as titles.

Loved this game as a child. I remember coming home and play this on my pc. Memories...what a f*cking great soundtrack that was. I think dredd 3d looks a lot like this game :)

Man, I’ve heard about these games all throughout my childhood, never got to play them…. But I just purchased both games on GOG this past weekend and holy crap man! This is a gem!! I can’t totally get use to the controls just yet but damn! If this updated version happened it would have been great! Come on EA! Bastards! Bring it back

EA was, is, and always shall be made of fail. They cancel everything good, killed off their subdivisions that actually made GOOD games like Origin and Jane's Combat Sims, and why? So they could churn out undistinguished action games and their no effort stat-and-graphics update yearly releases of sports titles.

Andrew Sega made this theme!? In 2006!? That horrible decade didn't deserve a Crusader. Now, this would be a great decade to give us a remake or another sequel. And Necros and Basehead must make the music for it as well, just like they did with the original! ...Why does it have to be EA? :(

There were supposed to be 5 games in the Crusader Series and only two were published. This game should have been released, EA have made some terrible decisions and dropping Origin was a fatal one in my opinion. Andrew Sega is a electonica genius and this theme is awesome!
