I remember back in the day this idea of the inside in/out really started to make sense to me when Ivan Lendl started doing so many Inside Ins. As I get older the inside outs are a little harder, but I guess some footwork drills to refresh the idea and to retrain muscle memory might help. Great video as always. Cheers, M

Love the connection to Lendl. It's fascinating to look back at previous generations and realize how much of the "modern" game was in use many decades before it started getting that title.

From my experience, unless you're a high level player with tremendous reading, footwork, and prep, you're better off working on hitting a better backhand and maintaining your court position

depends if your backhand is better than your forehand or not. You can can hit inside out forehand harder then any backhand

Ian, you're great man, but as a lefty it's really disappointing that literally none of you left handed guys do any dedicated lefty stuff. It's always that tired cliché "You know what to do you're used to inversing it" no one actually serves us, not even us. Sad.
