i can crack a walnut with my finger (not so easily as the ukranian guy) but the ukrainian guy used what we called here "καιρισμένα" walnuts(has a lot weaker structure)... you choosed to buy some kind of walnuts that look extremely dense, stucked, extremely fresh and like pumbed up :P so in my opinion is almost impossible to break that kind of walnut... I was so impressed when Magnus did it... maybe Mountain has a chance to do it easily, if he puts all his weight force to just 2 fingers... like a Goku Mode xD

I think the trick would be aligning the "seam" with your thumb, that way the pressure is separating the shell. If you have it any other way your essentially trying to crush a dome in its strongest orientation. Watching Denis' video, he definitely follows that technique. I don't doubt that it still requires a lot of strength, but I do think technique will help.

From a video by a fishing channel where I found this channel (saw champions and professionals of the strength realm being themselves e.g not watching a match) and realised that anything can be entertainment if done right even weights. These are all great videos from genuine cool people. No excessive memes, filter stuff, clickbaits or what not. Just having fun and sharing the energy with the viewers. Even if people dont train their body, they would surely feel like they were apart of the video. A journey. Thank you for creating this channel. i did this ~age 14. my dads girlfriend by then had a huge tree behind the house so we had lots of walnuts. one night i bent the (cheap) metal crusher on a hard one... and i was too lazy going to the basement getting pliers, so i had to figure out another way - best method is the one magnus uses at 6:40, curl your index finger around the nut and push your thumb into the side seam towards the base(dull end) of the nut... probably had just under 60 kg at that time ;) these nuts must be some sort of mutants

Don't need Cyplenkov for that. Just align your thumb along the length of the seam first. That makes it possible and then there's more that can make it easier. Magnus made a very valid comment that wasn't paid any mind: they could've been older walnuts. In fact if the index finger smashing thing wasn't a hoax then it proves the man had old walnuts.

I do enjoy seeing Magnus in collaborations. Though, with each of their different personalities, it makes for great entertainment.
