This is my all time fav episode. Even after all these years, you can clearly see the friendship between Broacha and Mathur, and how fond they are of each other. For people like me who grew up in the 90s, watching Cyrus and Mini on MTV was so much fun. This episode was pure gold!

Cyrus Broacha was an integral part of my childhood and my father's adulthood in the late 90's and early 2000's 😂 I really miss those days of the TV set where channels like MTV with shows like MTV Bakra which we always watched, Semi Gire Baal, Nikhil Chinappa's Music Countdown show, all the cartoons on Cartoon Network, late night classic movies on TNT, Mahabharat, Shi Krishna, Jungle Book and Sunday Cricket matches on Doordarshan. Then in the afternoon my father used to take me along with him to Rhythm House at Kala Ghoda to shop for music CDs. Life was so uncomplicated back then. Ever since the advent of mobile phones and smart phones, that core feeling of happiness withered away gradually and everything started getting repetitive, monotonous and complex. On one hand, the technology definitely speeded up things but it slowed down the special moments worth remembering. Till this date, my most special memories are from the late 90's and 2000's. Anyways I hope some day we get to revive those days and I hope Cyrus Broacha stays youthful, energetic and a bit irritating even in his 80s.

This was amazing, amazing podcast. Am a 90s kid and grew up watching Cyrus, Maria, Danny McGill, Kenny G from VTV, that was also the time when Friends Serial was being telecasted. It was an amazing era, starting of Colour TV, liberalisation, introduction to western songs. Amazing era. Cyrus was the OG. I still thought Cyrus was well read VJ, he studied in the States Lee Strassburg uni and had come back. Am a crazy, crazy fan of Cyrus Broacha. Always on comic. I would like to think myself as that.
