Mighty Mutt would be so proud. That's a superhero dachshund I made up inspired by my dachshund I rescued some time back, I had crocheted her a red sweater because she got super cold during the winter and when she ran around in the yard with it on it looked like a superhero cape flapping around in the wind and seeing her go from her horrible skin and bones state and scared of everything when I got her to a plump and happy dog just enjoying a run around the yard in the sunlight inspired me to make up the superhero dachshund, she passed some years ago but that happy memory always remains and this just reminded me of those happy memories, thank you for this you have put a smile on my face and a warmth in my heart today 🩵🥰

My favorite moments were the lists of possible names (Danger Dokily and Wolverwiener were hysterical), and Mila's comment about a "pickled wiener". I've missed these videos so much. Cru has earned a peaceful retirement, and he knows his legacy will live on with Oakley, Daphne, and Delilah. I love all 4 of them, as well as their pawents, romantic interests, and the narrators. Brilliant storylines, great photography and camera work, and laugh out loud moments/lines. Wishing you all the best.

I only found Crusoe, Oakley, Daphne, & Delilah after losing my beloved Dachshund, Einstein, on August 27. Watching these videos brings me such joy & made my heartache ease a little. @@libbiemoore291 Thank you so much. You are so sweet. My little 22# Dachshund rescue was the epitome of love, joy, intelligence, happiness, personality, moxie, & bravery. He was my first small dog & I never knew that a dog could exude such joy & passion for every single day. He never lost his puppiness & we played more fetch than anyone could imagine. We took 2.5-mile walks every day that was warm enough. Einstein was so smart, he understood English on a whole other level. He received a stuffed toy that had a squeaker ball in it shortly after we got him. This was the first time he was unable to shred a stuffed toy in less than 10 seconds like all the others. After 3 days, he still hadn't broken through that stuffed animal. His dad made the mistake of saying, “Too bad he doesn't realize that the eyes are the weak spot.” I swear on everything I own & love that, in about 3 seconds, there was fluff all over the floor & the squeaky ball was out! He was too small & not yet strong enough to squeak it, but once he was, he squeaked it incessantly. I always let him squeak it as much as he wanted because it brought him so much joy & I knew that he would not live forever. I’d give anything to hear him go on a non-stop squeaking streak. I will forever miss him & I know that he is irreplaceable, but I hope that I will be able to find another Dachshund to rescue & shower with all the love I thought I would be showering on Einstein for years to come. Life is too short & precious. Celebrate it every day with those you love.💜😽💋
