Despite his differences with Modi and his ideology it amazing to see Patnaik work well with the central government. It clearly shows that he respects people's mandate and wants the best for his state. He has never shown contempt for Modi as a PM and has never even made an irresponsible statement or undue criticism. He works for his people and their betterment irrespective of who is at the Centre. This clearly shows his maturity and willingness to work for his people. No wonder people of Odisha respect and love him.

I m a non odia living in odisha since birth for 23 years becoz of my fathers gov job. Presently i m studying in kolkata. Bt if given a chance i would like to live my every day and minute in odisha becoz its d most peaceful place to live. Every one is so grounded here. No matter how rich and promptus u become u will have that person eating pakala with baigana bharta and aloo every alternate day. Sadly my father never owned any property in odisha coz we lived in gov quaters and hence i hav been denied domicile for this state even after living in this state fr 23 years...speaking, reading and writing odia fluently..it really breaks my heart dat after my fathers retirement odisha is not gonna be my home nymore. I am from western Odisha. The CM may be good in records but here as a student I am mentioning some Points which is reality based I am experiencing and seeing in my area... Education is most important for the future of nation but here you can see more than 50% teacher posts are vacant. In Panchayat College Bargarh there are only 2 permanent lecturer in Mathematics for +2, +3 and PG. Here you can see how neglected education is. Not only Mathematics dept. Other dept. also has the same condition. If the Government is not capable to provide good education to the student, then my question is.. In which perspective the CM is awarded with the IDEAL CM AWARD.

Except developing Bhubaneswar city , he has not done any other development..still farmer suicide & mass migration of people to other state is biggest issue....but personally he is a clean person but his party is not. BJD is the richest party in Odisha ....once Naveen is gone BJD will be divided into 100 pieces because there is no 2nd generation leadership....He runs the party like an authoritarian. He removed all his friends from party who were a threat to his position....
