Excellent review! Very detailed in all aspects of design and performance. So nice to hear honest advice related to the weight of the ski, how to carry it and what to expect when accelerating. Really liked the scuppers with a one way valve, and no need to deal with opening and closing bailers. Also, the forward round hatch and extra bungees behind the cockpit add to great versatility. The hull outline and rocker seem very surfy! I'd love to get my hands on one to try😂 Please review the length dimensions, at 5:32: The 5,2 meter length is incorrectly converted to feet. Such an interesting ski, and congrats to Carbonology for including a rotomold ski in their lineup👍 Cheers from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷

Two questions a) why is there no Carbonology website (apart from a simple landing page with a phone number)? and b) what are the differences between the Cruze XRT and the standard Cruze/ Cruze Tourer surfski?

Great review. How did the hatch hold out during the downwind?

Howzit Paul, the hatch actually held up pretty well. I use it extensively for coaching and downwind lessons too.😄 There is virtually no water 💦 getting into the ski from the hatch. I will say it’s not 100% full proof in really harsh conditions. Always best to keep any items being stored in the hatch in waterproof pouches👊🔥 Thanks so much for the support champ.
