Can you reduce the squat by moving the trailing arm mount up? Seems like an AWD/RWD lowered Honda with multilink rear suspension would have a lot of squat. Moving the trailing arm mount higher in the chassis would reduce, right? Probably can't move high enough to produce anti-squat but reducing squat could help, maybe?

I have been thinking the same things almost like a ladder bar!?!?
@TomJones-ds5rk2 ай бұрын
@@GoofyBuiltShaneyes ladder bar and trailing arm should have similar or the same anti-squat geometry. Maybe S1Built Lite trailing arm with chassis bracket similar to Verkline (pn: was-041) trailing arm kit for Golf MK7. The 3 hole chassis mount bracket is 4 sided with curved VW trailing arm but 3 sided C bracket would fit S1Built straight trailing arm. If the bracket was kept skinny I bet you could have room for at least 3 holes of adjustment. The Verkline has adjustable tilt trailing arm but i don't think that's needed on Honda multilink. Plus, raising the chassis mounting point you'd be rotationing the trailing arm, hub and other links back to stock ride height angles anyway so the adjustment seems unnecessary. So no modifications needed to S1Built trailing arm. As far as toe, the mount could have slotted holes for the 2 factory holes in the chassis to slide side to side. And/Or adjust the lower & upper links to change toe. Since the mount would attach to the 2 factory hole in the chassis. The mounting base would need to extend 2" forward and 2" rearward. This might keep it from twisting. The factory setup has no twisting action other than force of the rubber bushing twisting. But once the pivot point is moved upward the mount would try to twist with wheel torque. But the larger base should hold it steady. Worst case 1/8" plate with 2 nuts welded to the chassis would spread the load from 2 factory chassis holes to 4 total. A drawing would be better but I tried to explain what I'm thinking. Sorry. Lol.
