Its like an early crush in middle school, your awareness perks just from being close. You dont think you can handle too much, but you also dont want it to end. words are hard to come by, but in the moment, they arent needed. it's not until the world tells you to keep distance from people. your life gets upended. the space grows. words couldnt cross the space that was electrically charged. words cannot begin to fill the distance that keeps receding like the outgoing tide. the air is cold. there is no trauma. there are no butterflies. there is no physical contact. you are alone. your interactions are in the comment section of youtube.

This was the song that came on the radio while I was driving to work after the February 6th earthquake in Turkey. It was a cold Thursday morning and I still couldn't reach my ex-girlfriend who lived right in the epicenter of the earthquake zone. It had been more than 72 hours since the earthquake and I was beginning to accept that she didn't make it. We still loved each other, but family disagreements a few months before had forced us to separate. After the song came up, I couldn't help but be reminiscent of our good times back in the day. I started to think of what I wouldn't give to hear her soothing voice, only if it was for a few seconds, just for her to tell me she was okay. This song reminds me of her, and the countless text messages and phone calls that went unanswered. A fading cry toward the abyss.

This was the last song I added to my Spotify library right before I got in a bad skateboarding accident and broke my shoulder. I needed to get surgery to have screws placed in. When i hear this song While Seeing him lying on the hospital bed, unable to speak, Unable to see clearly, shaking hands and rapid breathing. After 3 months since he passed away. This song reminds me of a friend i had. We met 2 years ago and quickly became best friends. We did everything together. One of my friends has the same friend u did and I just told her about how she's toxic and she should end the friendship. Nothing happened yet, but it's only been a week. I just hope she doesn't do NOTHING about it, because it's very energy robbing for her. I don't know how to help further

​@Messitherealgoat6360 Atleast we had Messi in our lives. The unforgettable happiness he gave us when times were tuff. I had severe depression in 2022 and had to quit my job. I was completely numb and couldn't feel anything. My birthday is 18 December and my birthday gift was Messi winning the wcup on my birthday. I've followed Messi for 15 years, watched all his games and that world cup win in 22 literally cured my depression. I'm extremely grateful for to have witnessed his incredible career. 🙌 and greatness.

someone that i went to middle school with recently passed away. i was never close to them, i had one class with them but that’s it. they never failed to make people laugh and truly was just a wonderful person. when i heard the news, for some reason it made me feel so heartbroken, despite me not being close to them at all. this song reminds me of them. i hope you are at peace now, and keep flying high.
