This was the song that came on the radio while I was driving to work after the February 6th earthquake in Turkey. It was a cold Thursday morning and I still couldn't reach my ex-girlfriend who lived right in the epicenter of the earthquake zone. It had been more than 72 hours since the earthquake and I was beginning to accept that she didn't make it. when I listen to this song I think of my best friend, at first he was just a friend that I could rely on whenever I was sad, he made me happy whenever I was sad and I felt very comfortable with him, until the time came to take him home of another country, before he left we met to at least say goodbye to each other and that was our first and last meeting. when he was in the US a few months later, I realized that I really like him and I know that it has been bothering me for a long time, now I don't know how to tell him all this especially since he only thinks of me as a friend to me, now I'm happy that she's happy with her boyfriend and I support that, take care always I dedicate this song to you:))

I think what makes this song so impactful and different from other confession songs is that he’s not saying he’s sorry, he’s doesn’t feel bad for her. He’s trying to rid *himself* of that guilt. He doesn’t promise to change, only saying that he _might_ make the effort to change
