Man even though the ending may seem lackluster, I think it was an appropriate end to such a game. I mean we knew the priestess was a sacrificial maiden to save the kingdom, I mean that weird cat thing even mentioned that when he noticed what she was wearing. Through the game she had this determination to reach her destination to save her village, and the rest of the land. She knew she was gonna sacrifice herself but she was super determined, idk I guess I kinda liked the end and the way it was executed. Whatever, just my opinion over the game.

I love how the little "progress saved" leaf icon changed from a red maple leaf to the green spring leaf when it changed in game as well. real nice and subtle.

God, this game is so good. As someone who values story over gameplay, I can't say too much about how I subjectively feel about it, but everything else in the game like the music, art, and gameplay are absolutely wonderful. This was quite a fun ride. I wonder what the other games are like.
