I love how you explain this character so well with the good and the bad tools she has and the fact that she doesn’t have the best buttons, but yet she is viable character and you still have people out there wanting her to be nerfed. She is literally a good designed character.

I always start with Serena with every character to just get a feel for them . I know Serena isnt top tier but she is really solid .

This is the first character I've ever chose to use Serena with but she gives cyrax alot. Especially if you make use of the meter drain, and up kick. It reminds me a lot of asharas synergy with her. It's simple but very effective

@@daquancurry7805 Noob has amazing screen control, amazing corner carry, amazing strings, with the shadow clone, almost every string is safe, amazing anti zoning and pretty decent zoning himself, so no it’s not just the damage. Oh he has amazing damage

Cyrax is good but it’s to early to place her on the tier list I haven’t studied sektor enough but cyrax doesn’t have a low starter so I can’t put her up there she her b3 is the exact same as sektor but they made cyrax b3 a mid and sektor a low 😂

A low starter doesn't matter. Most people block low in neutral anyway because overheads are typically slower and more reactable. Whether Cyrax B3 was mid or low it'd be used the same way. It's a mid checking tool used to catch mashing players or players who are neutral ducking while expecting a throw or high attack.

@@LastPrimeGaming Mid B3 for Cyrax is stronger than a low. Her only other mid is 20 frames and is easier to react to on meaty. If B3 was a low you could neutral jump and avoid both the throw option and the B3 option on meaty since jumps avoid both throws and lows. With B3 being mid, neutral jumps should get clipped by its hitbox, which forces them to guess between crouch blocking and neutral ducking.

@@lilleonmuks6493 you could but see that’s the thing. Smoke had had b3 that’s works amazing for pressure especially if the don’t wake up. A low start is way more scary than a mid starter. If we are both being situational and your opening my mind up I hope I’m doing the same for you. Neutral jumping a whiffed low all depends on how fast the recovery is.

@@LastPrimeGaming I don't understand how a low starter is inherently more scary than any other button. I'm more cautious waking up against Sindel than Smoke because Sindel has that F1 high-mid button that auto breaks armor. Smoke's B3 doesn't make me scared at all. In fact, none of Smoke's strings scare me, especially If I'm using a character with mid-hitting armor. The only thing I'm scared of with Smoke is that the person playing him has a shitty internet connection.

What characters would you recommend for more casual players then?

Noob and Sektor are easier but honestly i think casual players could play cyrax. I’m a casual player myself and was able to implement what he showed in the guide, it just might take a little more time
