I remember playing this game back when I was around 12 years old. It intrigued me. It felt chilling and creepy, but somehow, most of all, it felt comfortable, like a blanket against a cold and harsh world. I am currently going through a very rough period in life, having received a work cessation for mental health. The feeling of isolating yourself, trying to find refuge in strange and depressing dreams... Never thought I would see the day where I would relate so much with Madotsuki. The music helps me stay at peace and stave off panic attacks, thank you for it.

Honestly, I didn't hear anything about this game until very recently, unlike the vast majority here. I haven't even played the game and yet from the first time I heard this music, I felt a special connection to it. It captured everything I was feeling at one point and helped get through difficult times, when all I wanted was to never leave the warm embrace of my dreams. Whoever made this music, thank you.

I'm a very recent fan of Yume Nikki, and some of the music in this franchise is so beautiful, so fantastic that I am so happy theres compilations like this so I can work and enjoy the tunes of the most surreal adventure I've ever been on.

I see this has been reuploaded. I don't know if I left a comment on the old one, but I'd figure I'd show my appreciation twice at worst. This mix has helped me through feelings of anxiety, dissociation, and despair. Mental health has not been easy for me, but it's so nice to have something like this, to remind me to feel feelings. Nowadays, I'm doing much better, largely because I've achieved a huge milestone in my career (I'm actually a professional artist now!) but I still come back to this mix as it's a non-intrusive distraction that makes my job much easier (not easy to find stuff like this because of neurodivergence). It reminds me about all my favourite things in life and how because of my past trials, I've become a much stronger person. Guess I'm just trying to say thanks for the mix. It's one of the only ones that keep me sane.

I've played Yume Nikki some 7-8 years ago. I even played it a bit with my younger sister a few years afterwards. It's beautiful. The Steam realease of the game, the 3D remake of it, in my opinion was/is not associated with the original game. The company Kadokawa just somehow got the legal pathway to profit off of this beauty that its creator, Kikiyama, created and had nothing to do with the reamake of.

Glad this got reuploaded since I absolutely loved this playlist. Left a comment on the other one so I guess it won't hurt to give more appreciation for Yume Nikki I always love coming back to this game since it's a surreal yet intriguing experience exploring all the world and coming to your own conclusions on what they could represent for Madotsuki. The music is by far my favorite aspect surrounding Yume Nikki: they're just short, simple melodies to sell you and immerse you into the designated world. Yume Nikki is a huge inspiration for my interest on dreams and surrealism, maybe I should make an essay on it at one point gushing about it

tw vent and sui mention my ex loved yume nikki and played this video when we watched vidoes together, it was so soothing and i felt really close to him so i bookmarked this to listen with him again some time. he ghosted me and left me in peices with no warning, i attempted my life multiple times, and im currently unable to recover from that mentally or physically even though its been weeks now. goodbye andy, please never date anyone again.
