Crye food pantry pouch. For your multiple food wants and needs! Able to fit granola bars, forks, stick of butter, half of a breadstick, hotdog, and any other small food item (half eatin or not). This is a bargain for a.portable food pantry. More compact than a cooler and more portable but still with enough space for the food you want. Not made for anything military related and is not recommended for use of carrying anything useful other than food and eating utensils.

I keep 2 granola bars, 2 multi tools, and 2 speed loaders in the 40mm pouches. Then in the GP, I hold two ponchos, a waterproof zip bag for my phone, leather gloves and wool inserts (for winter) and sometimes some bandaids or electrical tape.

I have to agree with most of the comments. This back panel really doesn't serve a purpose for airsoft or even milsim due to the banger holder area. To bad they weren't just large pouches. Keep up the reviews!

Always liked the Crye idea of back panels. You might never take it off in airsoft, but when you constantly switch between rucking long distances with a pack on your pack, its utility becomes apparent. Rucking with crap on your back under your pack is awful, even something like a MAP or a couple pockets. I don't like that the Molle panel is sixty five dollars though. Ridiculous. Wish there was a cheaper solution.

The rear panel is kind of useless if you're going to keep your replacement gear in it. Here's why: it's meant for a teammate running CQB with you. Otherwise, you have to remove your kit, just to get to stuff. A little counter productive. Should've just got a low profile backpack.
@greenradiozone824
@greenradiozone824 2 жыл бұрын
Bit of a late reply, but if you're not going to be carrying much at all, there is no point to buy a backpack to throw on your back. It's a waste of money and space and creates a lot of dead weight. It's easier to buy say one of these backpanels or the newer style ones because it's slim, fits to your back a lot better, attaches directly to the vest (however there are zipon backpacks too), and still allows plenty of storage without creating a lot of bulk, especially when you need to carry a rucksack around and don't have say an ILBE set or something similiar where your assault pack and directly attach to the rucksack.
@Think_4_yourself_plz
@Think_4_yourself_plz 2 жыл бұрын
@@greenradiozone824 there are slim backpacks that can be attached with a buckle instead of a zipper, that would still allow you to carry a ruck if needed. 4 buckles to unhook will bench quicker than two zippers that you would have to remove your kit to be able to access.
@greenradiozone824
@greenradiozone824 2 жыл бұрын
@@Think_4_yourself_plz I kinda forgot those existed for a hot minute lmao, but I assume extraordinaire didn't really want to run a backpack, slim or not. He probably preferred something like having a few GP pouches thrown on the pack of your plate carrier kinda deal hence using a backpanel, as it allows you to run a hydration carrier while still having pouches for general storage.

This seemed like a waste (in my opinion, and you bought it so obviously you believe it has a use or you will try to find one for it). I like the MOLLE for a horizontal mag pouch and the GP pouch seems like it can fit two extra mags, but the 40mm shell/banger holders seem useless for the purposes of airsoft. Airsoft bangers are useless, they are not loud enough to disorient and does not produce light to cause flash blindness (the white screen video games make as a result of being flashbanged), let alone light at all. 40mm launchers in airsoft are just as useless. However, the bottom part of this configuration is awesome, as well as the hydration pouch; however, the top part ruins it for me. I wouldn't buy this, but that is just me. EDIT: I guess I should elaborate as well. That seems like a neat and compact way of carrying food, but it doesn't seem accessible. I always bring extra food, but only for emergencies (ex. friend forgot food, someone has low blood sugar) and I don't want it to be up for grabs. I carry 4 cliff bars in a utility pouch on my MRB and an MRE, freeze dried fruit, and extra cliff bars and water in my assault pack.

@ExtraordinaireThe 5 жыл бұрын
I do. The pack panel is nice if you have a use for that space, but I think it looks bulky and kinda boring. I much prefer the look and function of this one to the pack panel. However, the best would probably be the standard MOLLE zip panel and to configure the pouches yourself, or just run dedicated pouches on the rear platebag.

@@ExtraordinaireThe oh. Yeah I knew that. But that only affirms my statement of their limitability. Even on a team your buddies may not always be available. And even so it doesnt speak to all their other problems. An assault pack does more and you can take it off when necessary. If you have to crawl under something, get in a vehicle, get something out of it when your team is handling other business. I've worked with a guy that wanted to wear one if these. By day 2 we were all pissed at him every time he asked us to get something. Our squad started to tell him "no, get it your damn self." He was named high speed for the rest if the time he was with us. next opportunity he bought a small assault pack. 😂 They do have a purpose. But it is a very limited purpose.
