Mayank Balamwar No bro you guys had a great start with Tanahji this year. I am from Hyderabad. I’ve grown up watching Telugu, Hindi and Tamil films. There were many good films in Hindi in the early 2000’s to 2010 consistently because so many big actors and actresses like SRK, Hritik, Amir khan and so many others and also female actresses like Kajol, Rani Mukherjee and Aishwarya rai and many others who are veterans now were active then. Writers and lyricists used to be great then. If you see Yash Raj films always had comparatively good stories than Dharma . At present they are not consistent. Bollywood is more westernized now in an incorrect way . They got influenced western culture rather than their body of work which is making them away from the domestic audiences which is sad. People like Karan Johar think that He is the one who knew everything about cinema and is only encouraging Nepotism. Even now senior actors like Akshay Kumar, Ajay devgan and Aamir Khan etc.. are continuously trying different so as young actors like Ranbir, Ranveer , Rajkumar , Aayushman and Vicky . Completely agree. I, myself, am a screenwriter. Recently a production house asked me to change the ending of my screenplay, as it had a sad ending. They said that Indian audience aspires for a happy ending and they don't want to take any risk. The sad end is logical while the happy one will be totally stupid. I don't know what to do.
