"Crying in the Rain" is a song written by Howard Greenfield and Carole King and originally recorded by The Everly Brothers. In 1989, the Norwegian pop band a-ha covered the song. It was the first single taken from their 1990 East of the Sun, West of the Moon album. Following its success, a-ha became closer to the Everly Brothers. I hope you enjoy my instrumental version!

Another one of your songs that I could listen to over-and-over again. Your presentation of a familiar tune is better than the original [for me]. I admire not only your obvious talent--I also admire and envy the energy and commitment to excellence you put into your finished product. I studied piano for 7 years. Exasperated my teachers when I neglected to practice the scales and other exercises. I bought my own sheet music--tunes I loved--and perfected those. If I liked something, I put heart-and-soul into learning it. The astrological sign Aquarius indicates some traits common to all Aquarians These include independence, restlessness, creativity, and musical/artistic abilities. I claim most of these--and I strongly suspect you are one [I could be wrong :-)]. You earned a living in the paper industry. I taught high school English, worked as an office manager in retail, and deeply regretted not being 15 when--at 40--I discovered Ninjutsu. Saw some movies [Bruce Lee and Sho Kosugi] and realized I had missed the boat. I wanted to be a Ninja!!! Now that makes sense, doesn't it?? You did the smart thing when you retired--you went back to your first love. And have succeeded immensely!!! Instead of doing what I'd like--I find myself doing all the paperwork for a car repair business. This is my "paper industry"!!! Before you fall asleep reading all this--I end [for now]. Hi Von. When my channel started to "take off" I mentioned in one of the videos, that i would no longer be able to answer comments, as there were so many. It didn't happen! How can i not reply to people, who go to the trouble of singing my praises. I get requests from people who wan't to play my music at funerals, marriages etc, which is so rewarding. It would appear that many are claiming, some sort of therapeutic value, to listening to the music. I can identify with your "learning music" experience my friend. When i was thirteen, i went for music lessons, but did not have the mental capacity to take it all in. It was a time when traditional music was going to change forever. I had the ability to play music by ear. Who wants to play Bobby bloody Shafto Lol. when you can play Apache? I was limited, at the time, by not having a decent guitar to learn with. We were not a "well off" family and my two brothers and i, had to make do. I remember my father saying, "if you can play that son, you can play anything" Unfortunately if something is unplayable, then It's unplayable! Bless him! I am a Capricorn, born 2 days before Christmas! I don't really know what the attributes of that are Von.
