His AP scaling is 1:1, plus AP from his passive each round. I have won with Full AP thresh 20-30 times. Nobody is ever ready for how hard it slaps. Brings a tear to my eye as a thresh main to see someone else doing it.

I think you meant when I said I didn't need magic pen vs the Trynd/Ivern? In that case I was talking about Cryptbloom/Void Staff which reduces by a percentage. Given my huge amount of AP, I doubt Cryptbloom would've given more damage against non-tanks as the Lich Bane I bought.
