Yes there is, depending on machine type there will be a feature/option in the menu labeled "Manual" or "Manual Operation"

Hi, Indoor Vs Outdoor could be summarized by the actual size of the granules themselves. There are Small-Medium-Large. Imagine individual grains of sand (granules) this SM-M-L is the size of those individual grains. The smaller the grain the quicker the burnout/glow period, the larger=longer.

Hello. I just got a set of the mini's and when i demo'd there was some smoke present. I was in my garage and it was enough to set off my fire alarm. I've seen where the descriptions say no smoke. Is the presence of some albeit not a lot of smoke normal?

Thanks for comment. On brand new machines, there may be a slight amount present while the heating element and other items "wear in" for lack of better words. Generally there should be no smoke, which in specific terms when used in larger area will not affect fire alarms. Smaller confined spaces have less space avail so sampling size for fire alarms is more frequent/larger therefore will set off alarms. Every situation is different and without seeing your garage this is the comments we can offer.

This depends on batch. Some are and some are not. The CSA Certification cost a decent amount to continuously keep as they randomly inspect not only the facility but also random machines. We've heard about NJ and them checking on this also!

Say I’m using it during and only for the first dance, would I have to immediately then clean it out and running the machine tell all the sparks out. Or can I wait tell the event is done?

Typically you can wait until the event is done however we have seen some machines that when left too long may become jammed. This could be after much use or after many times being left on (heated) whereas the granules in the heating chamber burn up. Another trick we do is prime the machine (test until small amount of sparks come out) then use the clear function (activates the heating coil cork screw only - not the top cork screw feeding more grans in to heater) so you will still get the spark shooting out (only limited amount since your clearing it) but you'll also clear the heating chamber at same time. This has worked on live sets/movie sets/events where we cannot access the machines for long periods of time.

HI, Yes however all machines have to be addressed to channel 1 since they take 2 channels each, you cant use one with channel 1 and the other with channel 3 because there is no channel 4 on the Chauvet Obey 3 controller.

Hi, Shipping is generally within 1-2 days, unless there is a part of the order that may be back ordered, such as granules or power cord. Split shipping can be provided at this point to prevent a delay. Any shipping delays are the responsibility of the carrier as we have seen delays in all carriers recently for all versions and speed of shipping selected.

How safe are these if using inside a hotel? Because of the water sprinklers

Every location is different, however we do recommend checking with Fire Dept or conducting a controlled test beforehand. Due to the different types of sensors (Photoelectric, Ionization, Laser etc) each has its own sampling parameters so while some may easily setoff, others may not. Distance comes into play as well. Generally these machines don't emit much "smoke" at all however just because the eye doesn't pickup on it, doesn't mean the smaller particles wont set them off.

HI, Great question, simple answer YES! Depending on machine they will take between 50-200 grams. Mini Sparkular take 50grams, most other machines mini or large/regular size would take 200. We fill just under that to ensure theres nothing crammed in the chamber. Too much crammed into the chamber will place unneeded pressure on the corkscrew funneling the grans into machine which ultimately will wear it out faster (same concept when you compact the granules down by moving the machine in some instances).
