Today, I'm so excited to announce that my first EP, "Isolated Incidents" has been released on Gravitas Recordings.
For the past few months, I've been hard at work in the studio working on the EP, perfecting each little glitch and synth, and finally, I'm getting it to share it with you all - and I can't begin to tell you how amazing and surreal it is to say that. This EP is entirely dedicated and inspired by my favorite artists, the glitch hop community, my family, and all of the truly brilliant people who have supported me along this amazing journey.

Its original purpose has nothing to do with whether or not it is an instrument. It is a diverse platform that can be used in other ways, true, but it can create musical sounds and play them back, making it an instrument.

Implying you can use either of them. I study music, and I used to see Skrillex as a bad thing to music, idiot with a mac, etc. But when I started listening to him, I discovered that there's melody, there is a bass, there is a drum, there are chords in the background. Dubstep IS music (the good dubstep) . It uses instruments inside a PC. Most recording studios of "real music" also use programs with instruments. If you want to be SO hipster, go play the flute

A macbook is hardly a computer, it's like an ipad with a keyboard and trackpad. It sure as hell isn't an instrument. That's like saying your vocal chords are an instrument because they can make notes. On top of that, macbooks aren't unusual for making music, people use them all the time. I like Skrillex's music though.
