Cryptic/Crypton Ball Python Update + egg cutting!

Awesome snakes, I'm so intrigued with the Cryptic gene. What I've learned so far is you cannot produce a visual Cryptic Clown so does that make them allelic, can you produce visual clowns by breeding a Crypton to a het or visual Clown? I realize you wouldn't get visual Cryptic Clowns but there is definitely a correlation between the two genes and you and Billy are the only two I've seen that have it somewhat figured out. Anyway the Cryptons you've produced are stunning, specially the bananas.

From the way you described the breeding, the Pastel Banana would be het cryptic, "just" het cryptic, no clown gene needed to produce pure cryptic animals. Potentially alot of just het crytic animals floating around out there, unknowingly.. the reason most are discovered is bc everyone eventually tries to breed their animals into clown, which is why its been surfacing randomly. Just my oppinion.

That banana (non clown related) should be paired to a clown yo prove poss het or not. That may solve some problem solving on the crypton stuff. I still am not sold its allelic. Maybe it is but I've seen some "cryptic" pin and normal clowns....visual, for sale...looked legit. Anyways looking forward to an update whenever all of the breeders working with it figure this out.
