As a pro I'd add that support is available at any time and really quickly which is a game changer imo, as a con I'd add that sometimes my card gets rejected when using contactless and it doesn't have Google pay/Apple pay (linking it to a curve card can fix that though)

@@ivangeorgese8535 You can use your card as much as you want. No fee ATM withdrawals are limited to card level (about 200 per level). Cashback is limited to 50,000 or so a month (No fee). Overall this card has no fees. The only ones are if you deposit money via credit card or by transferring money to your bank account via a wire.

Another big con I don’t like about my jade card is that, when I pay for a restaurant bill, you have to make sure your card balance is 20% more than bill total amount including tips. I know you’ll get it back, but just have to make sure of it, to not be embarrass when your card show insufficient fund while you try to flex it 😂

I started with blue to get my feet wet and then roughly a month after I staked the 400$ for the ruby and by the time my 180 day stake was over I made enough gains on my investment to stake for the upgrade indigo. 😁 love my cro card thanks cdc!!!

tips: if you want to reverse the money you topped up with. Just use paypal, send it to your friend or relative and ask to send it back, then withdraw it to any other bank card and done.

It's whatever works for you. I have the peasant blue card (no staking). I applied just because I kind of collect these things, not that I have some big use for it. That said, I might eventually upgrade to the ruby red card ($400), but won't go any farther than that. You forgot to say if you upgrade to a higher level card, they charge $50. Staking $400,000 for the obsidian card is batshIt crazy. Unless you're absolutely swimming in money that you don't know what to do with, I wouldn't suggest that.

Cons X: Airport Lounge access is absolutely useless for international travelers as they Lounge Key vendor does not have access to most of the major international lounges. That benefit is useless on this card.

Yep. The Lounge Key benefit is garbage. At LAX, I think it only gets you into some bar and a spa. Who goes to the airport to go to a spa? Stopping at Kentucky Fried Chicken in the international terminal, and eating there, is more relaxing than what Lounge Key gets you.

Eddie, first of all, you’re awesome! I do have to add, if you unstake and sell your CRO then you won’t get any benefits of the card anymore (or don’t get the full benefits anymore) may be I’ve missed it in your video. Also when it’s time to unstake for the people that came after the time where the requirements changes, you can wait until the price of CRO goes up, unstake your CRO which is worth more now and restake right away using less CRO to match 400usd (for the Ruby card) and use the remaining CRO for other purposes. I’ve done it once now and will do it again when CRO is up and my staking period is over :) Another con is that I can’t add the VISA card to my apple pay (I live in The Netherlands). I think in the US it’s possible but in The Netherlands it’s not sadly :( Anyways, keep up the good work!

This is exactly what I was wanting to find out, after your initial 6 month stake and say you withdraw your stake do you loose all benefits so would you loose Spotify/Netflix reimbursements? Or is it just certain benefits? Let me know if you know exactly what it is you’d loose. Also, if you do restake for another 6 months do you instantly just have the benefits back?

I think that calling a deposit that will be returned after six months "expensive" is not accurate. The actual risk involved is whether the amount of CRO purchased and deposited will hold its value after six months. I've held the Rose Gold since February '21. I think a 4x increase in value is a pretty good return. (of course a few seconds further in the video, this was discussed)

You can get up to 4% with the coinbase card and you can top up your cro card from it for 7% start to finish

@@AlexFisher1805 coinbase has a debit card and it pays 4% back in the form of GRT or XLM. You can also go for 1% back on BTC, ETH, Doge or DAI. So what you do is your transfer funds into coinbase account. Then top up your CRO card by charging your coinbase card. Coinbase gives you 4% back in GRT and then after you spend the money on the CRO card you make 3 % assuming you have the indigo / jade card.

Not sure why you say staking in CRO is on the con side. It earns 10% and increases in value as CRO goes up. Its a good coin to invest in. I got in at 28c its now over a $. Very much a pro for me

HI Eddie. I have the Blue Card that gives me only 1% cas back. I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and tried several purchases using the tap option. Everything went well, there. But I have tried to use it in Europe now since I'm on vacations here and I have been denied every time by the POS machines. I have tried both Tap and by inserting the card but none have worked.
