So if you made a profit and have some capital loss. Both of them you can report in form SA108? What about if you want to declare only capital loose for this year which form you have to use ? Thank you . What about SA1 ? If you're not self-employed . Or its only for different capital Gains. Your video is 1000% better than information on official gov.uk about crypto taxes 😂

Thank you - we always hope to help :) Regarding your questions, capital gains and losses are reported on Form SA108. Do you mean form SA100? Please let me know (that one is for income from crypto activities for example). Stay tuned for future videos👀

Hi! Happy to help. Let's look at it like this (just a theoretical example): 1. You deposit £10K 2. Buy 100 "Crypto A" for £10K 3. That crypto goes to £20K 4. You sell £10K worth of "Crypto A" (basically half the amount you have of that crypto - 50 units) 5. You have to calculate the gain based on the amount of "Crypto A" you're selling (which is 50 units) 6. The gain is the sales proceeds (£10K) minus the cost basis (£5K) in this case. 7. You had a profit of 2x (100%) on those 50 units, so you have to pay capital gains taxes (it was a gain of £5K in this case). However, please consult with a crypto tax professional regarding your situation as we cannot provide personal tax advice. Hope that helps.
