What I Learned Testing Triangular Arbitrage on Binance with the Bellman Ford Algorithm...

Thanks to one of the Code Raiders YT follows, I was directed to the Bellman Ford algorithm for detection arbitrage across many crypto currencies on the Binance exchange. I have to say that it was impressive at just how quickly this algorithm picks up arbitrage opportunities. However, what I was not prepared for is just how competitive Binance is. In this video, we cover a recap on what triangular arbitrage is and also show my results.

Just a quick question, why don’t you use these on normal currencies ? I mean it’s the same thing is there any advantages of using these on crypto

On crypto you have price changes every second and you have thousands of changes resulting in thousands of opportunities a day, on the other hand on normal currency called FIAT (like EUR - USD), you have only 1 price update / day

Hi Shaun, hey I got your arbitrage with python cours at Udemy, but I'm stuck on it since the exchanges have changed their structures, so the code that you show on the videos, the exact code, doesn't work exactly as intended. . That happened to me bcs I bought it like two months ago and you launched that course some years ago, so I undestand that the code you show there can be a little outdated, since the exchanges made updates. But I was reading the comments of this video and you said you'll launch new courses soon. Are those gonna by Python-based? I prefer to wait for you to launch another course about triangular arbitrage rather than finding ways to make the code of the course work despite the updates on the exchanges, and I really like your teaching method. And other question is... so you're making profits with arbitrage but not thaat high, right? It's juts for knowing the field

I tried this 2 years ago. Created fully automatic bots written in Golang, which listened orderbooks from lots of symbols. More than 7000 symbol combinations between 5 exchanges were scanned every 50 milliseconds. As Wizards Grandmaster said, that wont make you rich, I can confirm that. 😉

That is the key I am searching for. I think nowadays this is useless, arbitrage is basically died. You won't earn money.

@@stanislav8036 Well, may be arbitrage on DEX exchanges still works. But in high liquidity exchanges spread is very very small. Even if you will have VIP status with low fees, it will not be profitable on long run. I think, the only way is not to have fees at all with SUPER DUPER VIP status. :)) So yeah, arbitrage is almost dead.

@@CryptoWizards Well, I guess there is. In low liquidity exchanges. To have lots of trades, you need to have a lot of different coins in different exchanges same time. When market drops, all coins drops and all our earnings will burn in hell 😄 Anyway, was fun journey 🙃

Does the triangular arbitrage made some real money for you Shaun? I have your Udemy course for this, but I am thinking is this worth of it? I mean I can not see any statistics from such arbitrage. P.S Just now I purchased Statistical Arbitrage trading build bot course. Just for myself development. But the question still persist. Are you making some income with this?
