First time I played Crysis I didn't like it that much. The combat is extremely unfair in many cases, and sometimes the boss fights just... end after a couple of shoots. I really liked 2 from the beginning (well, once you get to fight the Ceph, at least), but coming back to 1 I find them hard to compare, I really like both in their own way.

Except for that it was the worst Crysis and most generic game lol, I feel bad for you. They are lucky they fixed this terrible game with Crysis 3 but this? They could not even make a laser pointer right, cheap budget trash. Try to run with your assault rifle - your laser pointer will be IN THE AIR, just to show you one example out of so many. Cool trailer and music but bad game.

I recently played all Crysis games on the hardest difficulty and 2 by far was the worst and most pathetic game to the point I lost all hope for Crysis 3 which was then a pleasant surprise. Nothing about Crysis 2 is great - it was generic like any other shooter and threw out all the strenghts of Crysis 1 while having a very low production value. They could not even add a working laser pointer and forced film grain on you so the walls always had weird static and such. Terrible.

It had good visuals but thats it, otherwise it was your generic linear shooter - truly a revolutionary concept right there while throwing away all that made Crysis 1 popular. Like I said production quality was very low like you can see on the weapons, upgrades were very unbalanced like stealth being extremely overpowered and overall there was little variety and to add super tanky enemies at the end just for the sake of it was also rather silly. Also what are all the console players supposed to do? They dont have config files to edit, thats a bad excuse for a badly made game. The worst entry in the series for a reason. Which made me all the more glad that in Crysis 3 they fixed everything and actually made a game instead of a linear mess.

Thanks Crytek, this is easily the best FPS campaign of the year. The immersive gameplay, linear sandboxes, smart AI, and jam-packed controls make for a totally awesome game in every way and I'm glad I pre-ordered. Please keep doing what you're doing. Crysis 2 is so inspirational, a masterpiece, a line drawn in this "hell-bent" generation of FPS games. Crysis 2 delivers on all scales of epic, being a surrogate of war in the future of warfare and historys most cataclysmic events. And NY was a perfect environment, from the jungle to the urban jungle and all it's masochism that you can't help but live it. I love Crysis 2 and the multiplayer. SOS Newyork.

Who’s watching in 2018? After all the call of duty games; and battlefield. I’m pretty sure this game would be pretty successful on PS4 in 2018. No one really knew what it was until the 3rd game. Make the trilogy for the PS4, it would be the best thing ever. Crysis 2, 3 on a console? Crysis 1 on PS4? That shit would be epic. I will buy it Day 1 and beat all of them again if it’s released. So annoying to go on my old PC and try to get the games to run with windows 10 messing up all my graphics drivers that I can’t fix anymore.

What's awesome is that you do all this in the game (cutscenes in trailer aren't cutscenes in this games they are playable) the crysis universe is super interesting and has loads of potential this was one of the best games I've ever played up there with skyrim and arkham city

Great stuff, my rig will be evolving as well, the extra RAM, blu-ray drive and CPU cooler so I can overclock will be the final steps to having my current rig at its max potential, I don't see myself upgrading anything on it until at least 1-2 years depending on how much games advance, your computer is gonna be a beast though, cheers.
