CRYSIS 2 Remastered feels really refreshed and the performance is decent. Of course it's not perfect and you may notice some stutters but at least the gameplay is enjoyable! RTX 3060 Ti : 00:00 (1440p Very High Settings / RTX Very High / DLSS Quality) RTX 2060 SUPER : 03:36 (1080p Very High Settings / RTX Very High / DLSS Quality) GTX 1660 OC : 07:09 (1080p High Settings) GTX 1650 SUPER OC : 10:43 (1080p High Settings) GTX 1050 Ti OC : 14:14 (1080p Medium Settings) *Note: The game requiers over 8GB of VRAM on Very High settings with RTX ON and over 6GB on High settings, so I had to lower texture quality when I did the test for RTX 3060Ti / 2060S / 1660 / 1650S.CRYSIS 2 Remastered feels really refreshed and the performance is decent. @@dedajodd7231 My opinion is that most of these games that consumes so much of VRAM with common looking graphics is just bad optimized. I think 8GB VRAM become the standard on mid-range GPUs until the new gen of consoles

lol, have you ever played crysis series with the new amd rdna gpu's ??? i did. * in crysis 3 with rx 5700 xt, i cannot get more than 20 fps in may places. same with rx 5600 xt too. * OG crysis didn't even run on windows 10 properly same with crysis 3. * crysis 2 has many weird bugs all over the game(invisible aliens an entire mission) & steam version straight up ended in virus quarantine folder. * old cryengine f**ked amd's rdna gpu's with low gpu usage...even with dxvk workaround rdna gpu's ends with massive shuttering. & finally, crysis in pc and older consoles are different, especially visual quality. this remaster version mainly focus on bringing c2 & c3 pc version to the newer consoles. but unfortunately ported older console c1 version to pc.

Why can't the tests be done in the same resolution? Only at 1440p. Not relevant to reduce to 1080p

@Sergey ReActor Well, you have your opinion, I have mine. As far as I know, most of the users who own the 1660 super use it at 1080p, so what's the point making the test at 1440p on it? I'm perfectly understand the people who dislikes the video because they didn't see their favorite resolution or graphic preset, but if I'll start putting all of them the video will release only in a few days and it will last 80+ mins. This model of videos is not ok for me. Like I said, that's just my opinion. Have a nice one 👍

Last time i had problem with fps was MSI afterburner causing interferences. But you know windows, everything can be a prob.

Actually yeah, the new lighting system with Ray Tracing support looks really good, new reflections, improvements in shadows, etc. There is a list of changes on Crysis's website

im getting lots of frametime spike idk why, checkpoint stutters and hud update stutters are so bad :( why pc version always so damn unpolished man and bdw why the fuck this game eat over 7gb vram very high texture bruh these assets they use so old even they remapped the whole textured it shouldn't be go over 5-6 gb even resolution like 1440p jesus

The stutters in this game mainly happens when your GPU is out of VRAM and as you said at checkpoints

@@GentlemanGG yeah very high texture eats over 8gb vram and my 2060 super cant keep up, do you have texture loading problem on guns even high texture its pretty odd idk why this is happening and i move the game from sata ssd to nvme all tho its not vram issue because memory use around 6gb and since i move the game nvme no way its a drive related issue
