I've watched this at least 50 time over the years and every time it give me chills. The vocals and bass guitar solo are amazing.

I have loved this song and steven stils for decades. I would by the cd just for this song. I'd like to think crystal could bring this song forward to her generation. it's about time another one woke up. mine will march but we're getting a little arthritic for the front lines.

Crystal's performance here detracts nothing at all from the original recorded by Buffalo Springfield on 5 December 1966, which still stands on its own merits. She simply drags this great old song out of bed, pours a quart of espresso down its throat, puts it in new running shoes, stands it on its feet, and kicks its ass down the road.

Well stated!! I am seeing too many negative comments about how she does the song. She's a brilliant artist and a wonderful soul!

beautiful artist and voice also she's playing a takamine acoustic guitar which are very excellent guitars which i would have to say are underated but they sound just as beautiful as her and her playing. i just wish she would sing blues more often because she has the perfect vocals for blues and damn she would get mad respect and meet some interesting artist..

@aaskaaris I never said she littrally had down syndrome, just looked like she did once or twice while she was singing, and this is the only song of hers I've heard and based on what I have heard yes, I do love her voice I think she sounds amazing and I hope her music makes it over here. Also Im more than happy to make peace and be freinds, I was just having a joke, didnt mean to offent :-)

I grew up with this song. I like it, and I like Crystal, HOWEVER, this is NOT a "soul" song, nor is it a country song, or a "funk" song. This iconic song deserved a better interpretation than this. I'm sure I'll get a lot of "hate" responses, but that's my opinion.

"Better"? This is different sure but still enjoyable. Great bass playing and singing.

I think it's a great song that bears up quite well to her take on it.

She's a great vocalist, the bass player is brilliant, but I don't think the interpretation fits the mood of the song.
