Yeah its a messed up story but no doubt they made some timeless music. The member who assaulted her was actually Ethan Kath, who was the producer and founder of CC. He formed the group when he was 28 and she was only 15/16. In the song Alice Practice, Alice was allegedly assaulted whilst recording her vocals. She asked Ethan to delete the vocals but he kept it in the song. That song in particular has a really unsettling vibe to it. Its unfortunate what happened but their music was still awesome nonetheless

I saw CC in Lawrence KS w my buddy who was obsessed w Alice. Incredibly, it was easily one of the most enjoyable concerts I’ve ever been to. Interpol was supposed to be there but cancelled. We drove around the block looking for somewhere to park and in the alley behind the venue we saw Alice and Ethan having a beer and a smoke. By the time we came back they were gone. Still got to pass Alice a J and touch her boots when she crowdsurfed.
