Thank you so much Jen! You just verified that the "Astrophyllite" tower a friend gave me is actually Arfvedsonite. I told her that it looked a lot like the arfvedsonite tumble I have.

Thank you for always describing the differences between these gemstone/crastals great too know the knowledge and the information most of the time people confuse arfvedsonite for nuummite their both beautiful and I love my nuummite appreciation since your the only one who does this Amazing

Excellent video! This is a HUGE problem with sellers - especially international sellers. This video is crystal clear! Thanks!

Thank you for this information! I am a seller and have questioned what I have down as astrophylite. Very helpful. Nuumite compared with Arfvedsonite would be useful!

Yes exactly what I was thinking. Thank you so much for breaking everything down. 🙏

These videos are so great. You are doing a wonderful job at helping us to properly idemtify these easily mixed up stones. I love how many examples you have included and how you show the rough as well as the tumbled/polished. Thanks so much! 💜

I am so glad that you find them helpful! All of the crystals are from my personal collection or ones that I had for sale, so I might not always be able to provide this many examples. I will always show as many examples and variations as I can in each video. :)

Thank you so much for this! Picked up a “garnet” sphere at a market thinking I had found eudialite and astrophylite together. Been googling like mad to work out exactly what I got! Seems like a mix of Arfvedsonite, aegerine and eudialite. Your video helped immensely!

Good clarification! I know now I have arfvedsonite that I bought online, but I'm content with it, good metaphysical properties as well, thank you!!

Price is significantly different too. Also not to be confused with coppernite.

Thank you sooooo much for these information. If you had this up a couple of years ago I wouldnt have spent so much time to figure out what these mineral that is sold as astrophyllite really is. First I thought it is Nummite and then I realised they are arfvedsonite. Not many know it. They are my favorite crystal with their amazing energy which is very powerful and good for everything and I call it very friendly stone. Where did you find its rough, I have never seen it? BTW a lot of pyrite grows in arfvedsonite.
@CrystalGuidance4 жыл бұрын
I was lucky to stumble upon my raw Arfvedsonite. One of my vendors had one available when I saw him a couple of years ago. I had been planning this video, so I grabbed it! I haven't seen one since.

@@CrystalGuidance I am talking with a supplier from China who cuts these into spheres and I purchased a few KGs of it in the past. Apparently they have some raw material but I dont think they would be as nice as yours. BTW not surprisingly they call it astrophyllite.

Thank you for this - I've wondered for a while if that I had was labelled correctly - now I know it was not...

I got a nice big piece of eudyalite, or what was sold to me as it. And I always thought black in it is aegirine, now I don't know. It has pink which I thought was magenta, white which I thought was calcite and some golden spots which I don't know what it is, and black which I'm now confused about
@CrystalGuidance3 жыл бұрын
Aegirine does grow with Eudialyte.

Thank you soooo much! I realized I had similar looking stones bought everywhere under the sun, but it was sold under two different names. Now it makes sense. I actually do not have ANY astrophyllite! Just Arvedsonite! 😂 Well, it’s a beautiful stone…

Thank you for your indepth video on better identifying these crystals. I ended on your video because i was looking for information on how to handle arfvedsonite since its labeled toxic (asbestos). And blew mind when i saw you handling bare hand, do your crystals have a coating?
@wydansolux4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much~~ I've started collecting crystals on this year August and I've recently purchased an 'astrophyllite' which now I know it's an arfvedsonite 😆 tbh I don't mind getting both of them coz I loove flashes and I have a small labradorite collection hehe 🤭 Also another reason I've started collecting crystals is bcoz of Steven Universe 👀 but actually I've kind of admired crystals from young too ♥️
@CrystalGuidance4 жыл бұрын
Welcome to the addiction known as crystals! LOL Labradorite is my absolute favorite too. I am a sucker for flashes. Check out Hypersthene. I think you might love the flashes on those. :)

Hi. And what about properties ? Are theme the same ? I have read that astrophyllite encourage astral travels but arfvedsonite do that too ? And what about deficiency in iron and, potassium or body acidity.

I am baffled by a piece I have. It has the blue streaks and it's black WITH grey/white matrix in a cube shape. Is it ok if I send you a video and a couple pics?
@CrystalGuidance Жыл бұрын
I am Jen Faeline. I already helped to ID your crystal in the Love & Light group. In fact, just from your description I can tell you that it is Arfvedsonite. Astrophyllite will never have blue streaks. I hope this helps!
@lisalacy6884 жыл бұрын
I have some pieces I think are arfvedsonite but no blue flash at all. No white at all just the fans of gold. Then I have a piece with lots of blue but there is also translucency and some very tiny 1/4 inch spots of white deep in there. But it is definitely very dark otherwise and flashy blue. I am so confused.

So I purchased beads labeled as these 2 gemstones. Yet, I some of them have both the blue and gold flash together in the same beads. How can I tell them apart?

@@CrystalGuidance Okay. Another youtuber said the ones with white spots are Astrophyllite?
