Thanks Paul that means a lot. I did indeed try several substances. Some worked, some didn't, but vitamin c looks just incredible. It's hard to get everything right for a time lapse like this, as you can't reliably prefixes the camera as precise as you need, so there's some guess work involved. The crystalizing process itself depends a lot on the speed of evaporation and therefore on the temperature, which causes results to vary. But it worked out after all and I am really excited to finish the behind the scenes video soon. Thank you for your kind comment and the good wishes! Have a wonderful easter weekend and stay healthy.
