I love to see what you find, but watching also depresses me because there is no where near me that I can find any kind of crystals, and there is no way I'll be visiting anywhere I could find them. I love Japan, but it sucks for crystals!

I thought long on this comment,,, I know the area. That is the biggest lead dist. Largest mine etc. The crystals you are digging are Dresser minerals from the mines. In other words waste from the mines. So with that being said there is NO pockets you are digging the waste piles. It is ok there is some cool stuff right there and easy to get but you are not digging pockets......Those crystals come from 100s of feet below the surface. It is like that around Boone terr and the Big river area. Like I said the worlds largest lead mine. at one time or still is. Just a bit of history.

I’ve dug here a few times it is a lot of fun the crystals are beautiful. I have a display case for them and also trade with members of my local rockhounding club. It’s a really good time and you can fill an entire bucket for $30.
