Love that your revisiting this bezel, it's always been a favorite. Regarding the sizing of the stone - these stones in the Beadingschool boxes are a lot thicker than the Swarovski fancy stones that you had originally bezeled. The diameter of the stone is the same, but yes, the overall stone is bigger in thickness, so the netting is going to react differently.

@@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry I measured my last remaining Swarovski 27mm crown stone at the very edge and it's 1.4mm thick. The 27mm stone in the Celestial Lantern box measures 2.4mm at the same point on the edge. The stones are the same thickness from the point on the back to the center of the table (9.4mm) , but the Swarovski has a more dramatic slope.

I know that real stones are more expensive, but they look so much prettier and in reality they aren’t that much. You could get lab created stones and bring down the price even more. I just don’t like foiled glass. I find great deals on stones all the time. Even glass without the foil would look better.
