WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is a safe, natural form of energy healing from Japan that is practiced wordwide. “Rei” meaning universal and “ki” referring to the vital life force energy that flows through all living things. Usui Reiki, which I practice as a Reiki Master, was discovered in the early 1900's by Mikao Usui, a Japanese monk.
Reiki is not a religion and it is available for everyone, regardless of background or beliefs.
BENEFITS OF REIKI
Benefits can include relaxation, stress reduction, feelings of peace & calm, better sleep, improved healing, increased energy, a more positive outlook on life, resilience, clarity, & improved relationships
Everyone can benefit from Reiki, regardless of age, physical condition, or cognitive level.
It is not meant to replace Western medical care, but rather to complement the practice.
REIKI SESSIONS
Reiki session can be give IN PERSON or REMOTELY. Both methods are effective, as Reiki transcends time and space.
In an in-person session, the client lays on a treatment table, fully clothes, while the Reiki practitioner lays hands on or above their body.
In a remote (distance) session, the client remains the their own space can lay down or sit comfortably, while the session is complete online, over the phone, or off technology.
RESEARCH
The esteemed Mayo Clinic and Cleveland Clinic (as well as many hospitals around the world) offer Reiki as an evidence based complementary treatment for certain conditions.

Interesting. I understand holding a stone in one's hand while meditating, but what was the meaning for that circular hand gesture at thr beginning, Natalia?

@backyardrailroader, Thanks for your question! I’m not sure ifI select specific crystals for throughout each session. The selenite wand here was used for cleansing & protection of the space. The sweeping motion was intuitive to clear the energy along with the Palo Santo. The other hand movements without the crystals are Reiki symbols as well as moving energy. What you explained is beyond my understanding. Meditation of any type similar to what you are doing is beyond me being able to do it. I am not only unable to zone out any sounds, but also wayward thoughts. My mind drift.
