I didn't think I would like the diggery doo with the crystal bowls but it was magic. And the singing, her voice is balm.

This is INCREDIBLE! I can’t believe I didn’t know it existed till now. Saw it on your website. Crystal bowls are my thing! Wish I would have gotten 432hz from the start. Y’all have influenced me with so many other instruments.. this with the didge omg! I am currently desperately wanting to get better on the didge

Thanks for the video. Your presentations are always helpful. It's a rather herculean ( or maybe a better word is just "impossible" ) task trying to mic / record the sound of a lot of these "sound" instruments, for obvious reasons. Because they are working more on a vibrational level, one really needs to experience them live to fully appreciate what they can do.. With these bowls, the beauty is to actually physically "feel" the vibration. So I guess what I am saying is that if anyone watching this is interested in the bowls, if you like what you hear here, you will be blown away when you actually have them and experience them live. Hope this might be of some help....💖

Agreed. So many instruments have an effect that can only really be harnessed in person.

2:20 So I don’t like the ‘ hissing ‘ noise made when rubbing the wand on the bowl ~ can anything be done about that ? I’m tempted the sand the outer lip of the bowl smooth ~ but don’t want to ruin the bowl.

Smoother bowls with silicone rods will have less friction sound than rough bowls with felt wands

Does sound therapy work primarily thru the body (not the ears)? If so, what is the difference between generating the sound thru a floor speaker versus a bowl or tuning fork? Are the sound/vibrations from a crystal or metal bowl somehow different from the sound vibrations coming out of a speaker? Would a high quality player/speaker be 10% as effective.. 90%? Also any thoughts on those $1500 authentic hand-made Tibetan ("healing" or "therapy" grade bowl) that uses 7 different metals.. versus the more affordable machine-made ("Tourist" grade) metal bowls? Crystal / Quartz bowls? I've read that all bowls are in C-key/major (260hz), and the difference is in the pitch (B, A, G, F, E, D, C : 100hz-900hz)? Is it best for someone else to perform the sound-therapy on you, or is it just as effective to do it one self?

Sound therapy happens on many levels, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. To say one is more than the other could not be justified. Hand hammered himalayan bowls are incomparable to anything else because the subtle irregularity in shape makes for unique sets of overtones with each copy of an instrument. So these bowls are some of the richest sounds you can find in an acoustic instrument. I hope this answers your questions.

How do I tell if the one I have is real ? Is it smooth on the outside ?
@didgeproject2 ай бұрын
Some are smooth, some are rough. They are all real.

I am so sorry to leave a negative comment in this beautiful place, but the guy is very out of tune when singing. She could perfectly sing alone! He can play, but cannot sing holding the tune and I find it slightly disturbing, because your brain is hoping for the perfect note, or at least tuned, specially if you are open to get some healing.

I would advise to play singing bowls clockwise. It hurt my eyes to see two white people play them in different directions while humming a Tibetan mantra. Spiritualism is more than wearing white clothes.
@didgeproject Жыл бұрын
Can you explain why you advise to play them clockwise?
@ktammi Жыл бұрын
@@didgeproject Start to play the bowl by rotating the mallet in a clockwise direction. It is important to start in a clockwise direction as this is the direction for sending energy out from the bowl. Also, when making an offering for Lord Buddha we walk around stupa always clockwise.

Anti clockwise brings the energy into the bowls…
