Crystal actually wrote this song about an actual homeless woman she met one day. The woman had made sure to put on makeup and when Crystal asked her why bother? The woman basically said something along the lines of "still gonna look my best even if im homeless 🤷🏾‍♀️". Im not sure if that woman herself was actually a gypsie. Crystal may have called her that in the song because Gypsies were considered a nomadic people a.k.a they move around constantly and never stay in one place too long. Which some people may equate to not having a home.

I just can't connect with todays music no matter how much I try. The beat is far too repetetive, the lyrics have zero depth and any old no talent hack can use autotune instead of doing the work to become a true artist. Too many young folk today are just clueless
