After hearing this song I decided it was my favorite song ever. I have set it to replay constantly, but i decided that every time i have to turn on my music player, its time wasted that i could be listening to this, so I set up a keyboard shortcut, and with a little bit of programming, Just at the click of a button, i can now listen to it automatically. All I gotta do is press X to Doubt

[Verse] Well I’m well aware of what isn’t there Do you have a choice? Not yet found a voice to answer that with Well if I could identify with anything it would be doubt Let’s give a name to my everything, let’s call it doubt Any other name I accept it will soon feel like performance Only the doubt is enormous I doubt by any other name I doubt I doubt the words spilling out my mouth I doubt I care, I doubt I don’t care, I doubt And now I don’t think I’ll reach a point where the questions end There’s always another, but sometimes we pretend that we have the answers Yeah we’re just a bunch of chancers [Outro] I am doubtful I am doubtful I am doubt I am doubtful I am doubtful I am doubt Copied this lyrics from genius for anyone who want to sing along this beautiful piece like me.

I'll give my interpretation of it, because I highly related to this, and I've heard other stuff from them, that makes me think that way: Doubt is like when you are stuck in trying to find the meaning of existence, on why do we have to die, on what's the purpose of everything, on why; and it's like an spiral of doubts, questions that you don't seem to find the answer, and when you think you've found an answer ( even if you know, deep down that the answer might not be correct "sometimes we pretend that we have the answers"), then another doubt comes in ("there is always another") and you feel the same way as before, as if nothing had changed. And they never seem to end, no matter how many times you try to answer one doubt, there's always another ("and I don't think I'll reach a point where the questions end"). Then, everything turns into a doubt, an enormous never-ending doubt that can never be filled with the answers.

Man, I can really feel why Jay said he ends up crying with this song. Doubt, in how I see it, is like when you are stuck in trying to find the meaning of existence, on why do we have to die, on what's the purpose of everything, what's the point in everything, on why; and it's like an spiral of doubts, questions that you don't seem to find the answer, and when you think you've found an answer (even if you know, deep down that the answer might not be correct "sometimes we pretend that we have the answers"), then another question comes in ("there is always another") and you feel the same way as before, as if nothing had changed. You even doubt in your own answer. And they never seem to end, no matter how many times you try to answer one doubt, there's always another ("and I don't think I'll reach a point where the questions end"). Then, everything turns into a doubt, an enormous never-ending doubt that can never be filled with the answers.

I saw Crywank last night in Brisbane, Aus for the second time. This is the first time I’ve had post-concert depression since I was 13. There’s something so bittersweet about seeing the band that kept you alive and from feeling alone for half your life, for what could be the last time ever. I hope their music never stops giving me butterflies. Thanks boys.

Im not sure why the animator specifically chose the horse as an artistic symbol to express the doubt. But I'll theorise it could be because they're social creatures yet in the video the "main" character seems out of place with the other horses constantly changing its view on the world and switching between being a human and a horse, horses are known both for courage and cowardness, he tries to go along with the other horses yet he doubts the relationship with them so he tries to be closer but ends up running the other way after his view changes. As he struggles with his doubt towards himself and the others he cannot find peace and is constantly on the run, running from everything answers, questions, other people/horses and himself. Crywank mentioned horses in more songs like: "Only everyone can judge me" There's a line that says "I am not a stallion, I am just a horse" And he mentions the words docile and tamed in other songs. And docile is a nature of a tamed horse constantly seeing himself as a coward and too passive to conquer fears and fight for himself and his freedom. The constant switch f om human and horse and fusing the two is his vision and his awareness of his similarities with the traits and nature of a horse.
