The reason Complexity made their logo a blue star is because the Dallas Cowboys own them now, at least partially

For me with the NIP logo, I like the overall design of the new one but i'm disappointed that they didn't keep the color scheme. I also think the new color is a bit too much and doesn't work with a lot of other colors; no contrast and too bright imo.

Complexity is part owned by Jerry Jones, who also owns the Dallas Cowboys. Complexity is also based out of Dallas, Texas. Those reasons are more likely than not why Complexity changed their logo to a star, since Texas is the lone star state, and the Dallas Cowboys logo is also a blue star.

if you could understand the principles of good design, you could judge. Now it is just your own preference - what does look good in your eyes All logo remakes (maybe Gambit is exception) has done good things - moving from cliches to logic behind it. They are not too overcrowded, they look good when they are small (that's a super important in steams etc) no small parts of the logo disappears when it is scaled down, they thought about merch and last but not least, they look way more modern than old ones.
