It can be interpreted as "the best player of all time" = "the player who reached the highest skill ever reached", and in that case zywoo could be in the discussion. People really were out here forgetting just exactly how much presence Olof had in every single game he played in the almost 2 years of dominance he had. The guy almost single-handedly won Fnatic games and tournaments at times when the core of JW, Flusha, and Krimz wasn't performing as they should have. Hell even now, he's proving he's a monster on FaZe and after the past couple of tournaments has performed better than NiKo and Cold, another two players that probably also have a shout to have been the best players to ever touch Counter Strike.

Axelerera not to mention he has been tearing up T1 CS for over 15 years consistently and still is to this day. Lol. Also want to add, and this has been verified by Get_Right, that F0rest has never and still doesn’t even DM or practice his aim. Get_Right has been on record talking about how mad it used to make him that F0rest doesn’t practice his aim because if he would have put the time and energy into that aspect of his game, he could have easily hit many new levels in terms of skill, but he just has immense raw talent and has never needed to. Olof was really good for 2 years in csgo and then dropped of .Same goes for cold, he was a beast and is not anymore. F0rest on the other hand, never had a crazy bad year, he is the most constistent player to date. He was insane in 1.6 and also insane the first years in csgo, so far more than 2 years. The only players surpassing him in terms of raw skill are zywoo and s1mple, although its hard to compare csgo and 1.6. I mean f0rest is 31 and still the best player on a top 10 team, imo those stats are louder than words.

Man people forget how good Olof was at his peak and how long he held that for. When he won those majors with Fnatic there wasn't a player in the world near his level, in a star studded Fnatic line up he was the obvious stand out at a time that Flusha, JW and Krimz were all at their best too. Not to mention unlike Cold the team didn't play around him, he entried, he lurked, he anchored, he clutched, he did whatever needed to be done and made it look so easy, if it wasn't for his injury and personal stuff he looked like he'd have continued that for a long time.

Well, it's very hard to judge especially because we ourselves haven't reached this skill level and so we cannot fully understand the qualities that make you the best of the best. I mean, there are criterias and achievements but there is simply something more in this question. Like, trying to find who "understood" the game best or who "outplayed" the expectations of the rest best active players in his era... I don't know. If we really Talk peek Performance at a certain Moment and not only being great over a long period of time then yes, you can put cold and simple in the package of competitors but if you do so, you have to consider markeloff from 1.6, like this shouldnt even be a question

NEO was a monster in CS 1.6 but in CS GO it never became a star player. The best player in cs history has to encompass all generations of the game. So yes, s1mple and coldzera get in this list, and device can also get in that list without a doubt. CS:GO best players: s1mple, coldzera, device and olof, these 4 were the most dominant in their respective moments. In 1.6 we have NEO, f0rest and Get_Right (these two from NiP were huge at the beginning of cs: go too), Markeloff, Spawn. CS: source: RpK, Shox, Scream ...

Zywoo, s1mple, niko and many other players would absolutely smoke get right, forest, and whatever washed up players you wanna name. If they are so great how come they arent even relevant anymore? Dev1ce has been top 3 every year since forever, moses made a really good point about him. Lets be honest, cs wasnt really that developed until 2016. 2014-2015 nip, envy, fnatic, would get destroyed by many teams from todays era. You cant pick any player that exited his prime before 2016-17 to be the best ever

When we talk about best player of all time, f0rest and get_right has to be in the conversation. Both of them has many titles, they were dominant in CS 1.6 and, in the begning of CS GO, they were dominant too. I can't believe when I hear people saying that s1mple is the best of all time. He was the best on the last year and has been one of the best in CS GO for years, but even that, considering all history in the game, coldzera and get_right still best than s1mple. At this moment, s1mple is better, but in all story, get_rigth and coldzera are better then him in my opinion.
