How long does it take to kill a player with full health and armor with both fire nades? If it's shorter than 5 seconds, then that could "effectively" reduce the bomb time if the thrown fire nade's time is stagger'd at the prefect time to make it too dangerous to defuse for the last few moments of the bomb. Each fire nade burns around 6 -7 seconds. If the time for a fatal burn is less than 5 seconds, then it would be best to set the bomb on fire when there's 10 - 11 seconds left on the bomb. That way, when the fire burns out, there would be 4 seconds left on the bomb, which means that there's no way to defuse the bomb when it's not on fire. Since the bomb fuse is 40 seconds (or 35 dependin' on the ruleset), a prefect fire can effectively reduce the bomb fuse time to 29 - 30 seconds (or 24 - 25 seconds).

Der Molotov auf Inferno B klappt mega gut, wenn man sich hinter Sandbags in Ruine versteckt brauchen die so lange um Bombisde zu clearen dass die garkeine zei mehr haben und dann der molotov :D. Hab auch noch einen "eigenen" herausgefunden. Wenn man vor 1st Box plantet und dann einer Banane lurkt kann der Spieler 1. banane halten + den 1st box molotov von banane genau auf die bombe werfen ez :D

yo but defuse time is five seconds with kit. You have one second to aim your moltov. One second for it to land. And a few seconds for it to fully kill the player. By then he will defuse.

I really dislike that you can "bounce" the molotovs ; The incindiary-granade i understand... but letting a molotov bounce from walls sucks. Ts should not be able to set a planted bomb on fire from a save angle, if they loose a site, they should be forced fighting for it.

but it makes the grenades balanced because if it was not then the ct side would be overpowered being able to molotov you and keep you back while they defuseand you having no way of stoping it. also exposing yourself just to throw a molotov and then having it hit a wall and explode midair isnt to effective...

Word of warning. Planning to do something like this in a clutch situation can end up badly. Say you planned ahead to do this molotov from cat d2. Motlotov gets smoked, now you are fucked. The CT now has complete advantage over the situation. Bait them out to have them smoke you off first to reduce the chance.
