AMEN! I have been experiencing a lack of feeling for a while now and it occurred to me that it may be a test, then I doubted a wee bit but somehow felt stronger than I used to be. I was amazed that I seemed stronger about it than I used to be. This has encouraged me a great deal. Thank you SO MUCH! I’ve liked and subscribed. I'm right where He wants me to be. I will not be shaken by the things of this world but, by my Father and the things of God. Here I am, send me o Lord. I once was lost but, I am no longer a slave to this world but, a slave to Him. Saved by His mercy and sanctified by His Grace and grateful to be a chosen daughter. I've been following Jesus for 3 1/2 years after the stroke and All the things of God. Following C S Lewis for the pass three months has been good meat to chew and eat. Sometimes life being what it is possibly even being a test with unfair consequences even for those that don't deserve it some prayers cannot be answered in the way we want it to be and even when we experience loss the truth is heaven is real!!!! I needed broken by God. He certainly did that big time. Was and is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I always believed myself to be weak till God revealed to me afterwards that i was too strong within myself. This breaking process is done by God because He loves you and is the process of true Christian growth. After the breaking like Jacob and every other saint, the awareness of God and intimacy deepens to a hitherto before not comparable. Is astonishing. As a compliment to this brilliant wisdom and insight by Clive Staples please listen to "The saint must walk alone" by AW Tozer and "Breaking of the outer man and release of the Spirit" by Watchmen Nee both audio books on youtube. Im so glad that this excellent wisdom is available to us in these dark days.
